Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix together cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, milk, and honey.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients, stirring until just mixed.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  6. While the cornbread is baking, prepare the cinnamon honey butter by mixing softened butter, honey, and cinnamon together.
  7. Allow the cornbread to cool slightly before serving it warm with the cinnamon honey butter.
