Stuffed Mushroom Eyeballs: Spookily Delicious with Turkey Bacon

An eerie and tasty Halloween treat that everyone will love!

Ingredients

  • 12 large mushrooms
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 12 olives

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems.
  3. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, turkey bacon, green onions, garlic powder, pepper, and salt.
  4. Stuff the mushroom caps with the mixture.
  5. Place on a baking sheet and top with mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven and place an olive on top of each mushroom to resemble an eyeball.

Notes

  • These stuffed mushrooms can be made a day ahead and baked before serving.
  • Feel free to substitute the turkey bacon with regular bacon if preferred.
