- 4 medium apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup salted caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the flour, oats, brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, and salt until crumbly.
- Press half of the mixture into the bottom of a greased baking pan.
- Layer sliced apples on top, then drizzle with salted caramel sauce.
- Crumble the remaining mixture over the apples.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool before slicing into bars.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add chopped nuts to the crumble topping.
- Serve with vanilla ice cream for a delicious pairing.
