- 1 package Oreo cookies
- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup water
- 1 package cream cheese (softened)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 container whipped topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Crush Oreo cookies and layer half in the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch pan.
- In a bowl, mix cake mix, eggs, oil, and water until combined.
- Pour cake batter over the Oreo layer in the pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Whip together the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled cake.
- Top with remaining crushed Oreos and whipped topping.
- Chill in the refrigerator before serving.
Notes
- Use any type of Oreo for a different flavor.
- For added texture, consider adding nuts or chocolate chips.
