- 4 cups fresh peaches, sliced
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the sugar, flour, and baking powder.
- Add the softened butter and mix until crumbly.
- Press half of this mixture into the bottom of a greased baking pan.
- Arrange the sliced peaches on top and sprinkle with lemon juice.
- Top with the remaining crumb mixture.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
