- 2 pounds potatoes, diced
- 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 packet ranch seasoning
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine diced potatoes and sliced sausage.
- Add ranch seasoning and sour cream; mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 30 minutes, then remove and stir.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese and return to the oven for an additional 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add some diced jalapeños to the mixture.
- Feel free to use different types of cheese based on your preference.
