- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup diced apples
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon

- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and melted butter.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until combined.
- Fold in the diced apples.
- Drop spoonfuls of the batter onto a greased baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- In a small bowl, mix the powdered sugar and milk until smooth for the glaze.
- Drizzle the glaze over the warm fritters and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a teaspoon of vanilla extract to the wet ingredients.
- These fritters are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored for a few days.
