Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the butter and sugars.
- Add eggs and vanilla to the butter mixture, beating well.
- Gradually add the flour mixture.
- Fold in apples and pecans.
- Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

- Ensure apples are finely chopped for even distribution.
- You can substitute walnuts for pecans if preferred.
