- 1 pound ground chicken
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 tablespoon chipotle in adobo sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 burger buns
- 4 slices cheese (optional)
- 1 cup lettuce, shredded
- 1 tomato, sliced
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, chipotle sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Form the mixture into patties.
- Cook the turkey bacon in a skillet until crispy, then remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, cook the chicken patties over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
- If using, place cheese on top of patties during the last minute of cooking to melt.
- Assemble the burgers by placing patties on buns and topping with turkey bacon, lettuce, and tomato.
Notes
- For additional flavor, marinate the patties for 30 minutes before cooking.
- Serve with your favorite sides, like sweet potato fries or a salad.
