- 4 slices Turkey bacon
- 1 Bell pepper, diced
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 2 Tomatoes, diced
- 4 Eggs
- 4 slices Bread
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add turkey bacon and cook until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add onion and bell pepper, cooking until softened.
- Add diced tomatoes and cook until mixture thickens.
- Make wells in the mixture and crack eggs into each well.
- Cover and cook until eggs are set.
- Meanwhile, toast bread slices.
- Serve the shakshouka on toasted bread, topped with turkey bacon.

- Fresh herbs like parsley or cilantro can be added for extra flavor.
- Use any bread of your choice for toasting.
