Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Peel and slice sweet potatoes into thin rounds.
- In a skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy, then chop.
- In a baking dish, layer sweet potatoes, bacon, and sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour heavy cream over the top and sprinkle cheese and thyme.
- Bake for 45 minutes until potatoes are tender and cheese is golden.

- For a vegetarian option, omit turkey bacon and use vegetable broth instead of cream.
