- 2 pounds Yukon Gold potatoes
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Peel and chop the potatoes into even chunks.
- Boil the potatoes and garlic in a large pot of salted water until tender.
- Drain the potatoes, then return them to the pot.
- Add milk, butter, chopped rosemary, salt, and pepper.
- Use a potato masher or mixer to mash until smooth and creamy.
- Serve warm, garnished with additional rosemary if desired.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use heavy cream instead of milk.
- To make it vegan, substitute butter with olive oil and milk with a plant-based alternative.
