- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
- In a large bowl, mix the pumpkin puree, eggs, and vegetable oil.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, pumpkin pie spice, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the donut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let the donuts cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
Notes
- For a sweeter taste, sprinkle with powdered sugar after cooling.
- These donuts are best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored for up to 2 days in an airtight container.
