- 250 grams pasta
- 200 grams mozzarella cheese
- 100 grams grated Parmesan cheese
- 400 grams tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon fresh basil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
- In a pan, heat the olive oil and sauté the garlic until fragrant.
- Add the tomato sauce and season with salt, pepper, and basil. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce and half of the mozzarella.
- Transfer the pasta mixture to a baking dish and top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
- Use fresh mozzarella for a creamier texture.
