- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 cup orange juice
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 package gelatin (orange flavor)
- 1 cup whipped topping
- 1 orange (zested and juiced)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the cake mix according to package directions, substituting orange juice for water.
- Bake the cake in a 9×13 inch pan for the time specified on the box.
- Once baked, let the cake cool for 10 minutes, then poke holes all over the cake.
- Prepare the orange gelatin according to package instructions, then pour it over the cake, filling the holes.
- Cool the cake in the fridge for at least 4 hours.
- Spread whipped topping on top before serving. Garnish with orange zest if desired.

- For more citrus flavor, add additional orange zest to the topping.
