- 4 pieces chicken thighs
- 1 cup rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup honey BBQ sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Season the chicken thighs with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Place chicken thighs in the pan and cook until browned on both sides.
- Add rice, chicken broth, and honey BBQ sauce to the pan.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cover the pan.
- Simmer for about 20 minutes or until the rice is cooked and the chicken is done.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add some red pepper flakes.
- Make sure to let the dish rest for a few minutes before serving.
