- 2 pounds chicken thighs
- 4 strips turkey bacon
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix maple syrup, garlic, soy sauce, and black pepper.
- In a skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy, then remove and chop into pieces.
- In the same skillet, add olive oil and brown the chicken thighs on both sides.
- Place chicken in a baking dish and pour the maple garlic mixture over the top, then sprinkle with bacon pieces.
- Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
Notes
- For added flavor, allow the chicken to marinate in the maple garlic mixture for a few hours before cooking.
- Serve with steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
