- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder

- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil

- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add cocoa powder and mix well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together oil, eggs, and vanilla.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients, then slowly add buttermilk.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool, then frost with a mixture of powdered sugar and milk.
Notes
- For an extra touch, add chocolate chips to the batter.
