- 2 boneless chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt

- 1/4 cup olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness.
- In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs.
- Dip each chicken breast into the egg, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the chicken for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake for 10 minutes.
- Serve hot with additional basil on top.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the breadcrumb mixture.
