- 4 pieces chicken breasts
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the turkey bacon in a skillet until crispy, then remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, brown the chicken breasts on both sides.
- Add the chicken broth, heavy cream, garlic powder, and onion powder to the skillet.
- Bring to a simmer, and reduce heat to low. Cover and cook until chicken is done.
- Meanwhile, cook the rice according to package instructions.
- Serve chicken over rice, topped with crumbled turkey bacon.
Notes
- For a thicker sauce, reduce the heavy cream further.
- Add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for extra flavor.
