- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 1 pound chicken breast, cubed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup honey
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add the cubed chicken. Season with black pepper and cook until browned.
- In a separate pot, combine honey, milk, and heavy cream. Heat over low until warmed.
- Add shredded cheddar cheese to the pot, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Mix in the cooked macaroni and chicken, and add garlic powder. Stir to combine.
- Serve warm, garnished with additional black pepper if desired.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
- Can substitute chicken with turkey or tofu for a different protein choice.
