- 1/4 cup sour cream
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add water and mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface, then divide into small balls.
- Roll each ball into a flat disc and fry in hot oil until golden brown.
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef with taco seasoning until fully cooked.
- Assemble the chalupas by filling the fried discs with beef, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and sour cream.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add hot sauce or guacamole as toppings.
- You can use ground turkey for a leaner option.
