- 4 slices thick-cut bread
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
- 4 slices turkey bacon
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and half of the sugar and cinnamon.
- Spread cream cheese on two slices of bread, top with chocolate chips, and place the other slices on top to form sandwiches.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- Dip each sandwich in the egg mixture, ensuring they are coated well.
- Cook the sandwiches in the skillet until golden brown on both sides.
- Mix the remaining sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle over the French toast. Serve with crispy turkey bacon on the side.
Notes
- For extra sweetness, drizzle with maple syrup or chocolate sauce.
- Feel free to substitute the turkey bacon with any preferred bacon.
