- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions
- In a saucepan, bring water and butter to a boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in flour until a ball forms.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Pipe the dough into muffin tins and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a deep skillet and fry the chilled dough until golden brown.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl, and coat each cruffin after frying.
Notes
- For best results, use a thermometer to check the oil temperature.
- Let the cruffins cool slightly before coating with sugar.
