Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1/2 cup beef broth

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce and cornstarch. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the marinated beef and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add garlic and broccoli; stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Return the beef to the skillet, add beef broth and oyster sauce, and stir well to combine.
  6. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until sauce thickens and broccoli is tender.
  7. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
