- 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
- 1/2 cup beef broth
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce and cornstarch. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated beef and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and broccoli; stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
- Return the beef to the skillet, add beef broth and oyster sauce, and stir well to combine.
- Cook for an additional 5 minutes until sauce thickens and broccoli is tender.
- Serve hot over rice or noodles.
Notes
- Add red pepper flakes for extra heat.
- Substitute chicken or tofu for a different protein option.
