Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon five-spice powder
  • 2 teaspoons red food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix all the marinade ingredients together.
  2. Add the chicken thighs and coat well. Marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove chicken from the marinade and place on the grill.
