- 2 leeks, cleaned and sliced
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup Gruyere cheese, shredded
- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add leeks and cook until caramelized.
- Add mushrooms and garlic to the skillet and sauté until mushrooms are soft.
- Stir in heavy cream, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
- Add cooked pasta and Gruyere cheese to the skillet. Toss to combine and melt the cheese.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional cheese if desired.

- For a vegetarian option, ensure that the pasta is made without egg.
- Feel free to add cooked chicken or sausage for extra protein.
