- 4 pieces chicken thighs
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- In a pot, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger over medium heat.
- Add chicken thighs and cook until caramelised.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer until chicken is cooked through.
- Serve the chicken and broth over cooked rice, drizzled with sesame oil and topped with green onions.
Notes
- Pair with steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
