Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the flour, pecans, salt, and vanilla extract, and mix until combined.
  4. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased baking dish.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes.
  6. Meanwhile, in a saucepan, heat the sweetened condensed milk until warm.
  7. Remove from heat and stir in the chocolate chips until melted and smooth.
  8. Pour the chocolate mixture over the baked crust.
  9. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes.
  10. Allow to cool before slicing into bars.
