- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup mashed ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- In a separate bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, and brown sugar.
- Add the mashed bananas, egg, and vanilla to the creamed mixture, mixing well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until combined.
- Roll the dough into a rectangle, spread with butter, sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon, then roll up tightly.
- Slice the rolled dough into rounds and place them in a baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- While baking, prepare the frosting by mixing cream cheese, maple syrup, and a pinch of cinnamon until smooth.
- Once the rolls are cooled, frost with the maple cinnamon cream cheese frosting.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add nutmeg to the dough.
- Let the rolls cool before frosting to prevent melting.
