Ingredients

  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 4 fresh jalapeños
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy. Drain and crumble.
  3. In a bowl, mix crumbled bacon, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper.
  4. Slice jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove seeds.
  5. Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
  6. Place filled jalapeños on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For extra heat, leave some jalapeño seeds in.
