- 8 slices of bacon
- 4 fresh jalapeños
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy. Drain and crumble.
- In a bowl, mix crumbled bacon, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper.
- Slice jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove seeds.
- Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
- Place filled jalapeños on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For extra heat, leave some jalapeño seeds in.
- These bites can be made ahead and frozen before baking.
