- 1 large onion
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions
- Slice the onion thinly and soak it in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix together the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Remove the onions from the buttermilk and coat them in the flour mixture.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the coated onions in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Drizzle oil over the onions.
- Air fry for 10-15 minutes, shaking halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add cayenne pepper to the flour mixture.
- Ensure the onions are in a single layer for the best results.
